2)      Verb + infinitive Pharse

3)      Verb + preposition Pharse
Ø  Many people died of malaria (Banyak orang mati karena malaria)”
Ø  “We don’t want to interfere with their business ( Kita tidak ingin bertentangan dengan kepentingannya)”
Ø  “We rejoiced at (in) his success (Kami gembira atas kesuksesannya)”
Ø  “I can’t find my ring. I’ve looked for it everywhere (Aku tidak bisa menemukan cincinku. Aku sudah mencarinya kemana-mana)”
Ø  “I am looking forward to your answer as soon as possible (Aku mengharapkan jawabanmu sesegera mungkin)”
4)      Adjective + infinitive
v  If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them.”
v  “We were surprised to see you tonight”.

2.      Modifying an adjective : This Cake is very sweet.
3.      Modifying another adverb : The room was very quietly.
